Our story began a cloudy morning at Camelot Castle, located on 8, Place de la Concorde. King Chase had summoned all his knights due to an eternal problem which was imperiously be solved. A problem that affected the kingdom and common people who attended the medieval fast fairs and jousts. This problem was budget.

So, there they went: from Austria, Sir Toto; from Italy, Sir Mattia and from England, Sir Christian. These ones were the wealthiest, the most powerful and the ones who enjoyed the best resources to acquire horses, armours, helmets and equipment. Of course, they could hire the best engineers and trainers. This was the reason why most tournaments and jousting were won by them.

But they were not the only knights at the meeting. Sir Andreas, Sir Cyril, Sir Franz — closely related to Sir Christian on the side of the engines -, Sir Otmar, Sir Frederic and Sir Guenther were also present. The only one absent was Lady Claire who was pregnant.

All knights sat around a Round Table provided by Pirelli. As the morning was cloudy, warm and the radar said nothing about rains, this table was painted in red. This clearly showed that the meeting was not thought to last long.

All Sirs discussed argued strongly. While the strongest found no problem either with the budget nor with the shows; the weaker ones said that an unlimited budget resulted in a no fair situation. When the Red Round Table began to give clear evidence of graining, they all agreed on a limited budget. All shook hands (their rights since they hided their left hands where fingers were crossed) and proudly announced on their media that the Agreement was reached.

BUT…

But Lady Morgana Le Fay , an obscure accountant, sneaked into Sir Christian’s camp and the brave, dashing knight was bewitched. This spell also reached the brave warrior Adrian. In no time, they read numbers wrongly. Instead of having 140 sesterces (1), their estimate reached 190. A minor and not so important mistake.

The problem arose when all knights and the king, no longer Chase who chose well paid holidays far from the kingdom but King Stefano, learnt about this, they asked for the culprits’ heads. It was unfair, very unfair.

Latest news

The new king found a problem, he could no strip the tournaments won by Sir Christian but he had to provide certain equity and justice. So, to procrastinate the Royal Decision, King Stefano declared that more news on this case would be promptly announced.

Round (Table) up

In a World where sorcery and slyness were the common hard currency, it became too naïve not to take in count these faulty actions. For the other knights only a word: Welcome to the real spirit of the Formula One tournaments.-
